Re: re paint 1978 starcraft cheitin for aluminum boats it's all about the prep. all bare aluminum needs mild acid washing top prep it. then self etching primer. i like plain old rustoleum professional oil based acrylic enamel paint with acrylic enamel hardener added. i will last for years and is very durable..
