The boat has already exceeded my expectations, and i look forward to many more adventures with it. click on that microcruising link under the sketch to get more information on the paradox, microcruising , dave and mindy’s adventures in little cruiser or to order plans.. These plans are presented here soley for inspiration. they are not intended to be used to build another paradox, and this website nor the original author make any promises as to their accuracy or their suitability for any purpose whatsoever.. I have the plans and don elliot's build manual, but this novice builder still has many questions. i have posted them on the paradox forum on yahoo, and everyone has been very helpful. they are a great source of information, and always willing to help..

A scale-model of a matt layden paradox microcruiser, from being still (no speed) to sailing upwind at a 50 degree angle to the wind. first normal speed then. For modern boat building techniques i found the following books very useful: backyard boatbuilder by john welsford, a manual of modern small plywood boat construction techniques by paul fisher of selway fisher design, ultralight boatbuilding by thomas j hill, instant boats by harold payson and last (i wish i’d had this one early on) boatbuilding for beginners and beyond by jim michalak..
