Welcome to the north carolina holiday flotilla at wrightsville beach. it is the southern coastal version of a holiday parade – on water – at night. our newest award is the paula sturdy award for the best wrightsville beach themed boat. this award was established from donations given by her family and friends.. Pleasure island holiday flotilla boat parade saturday, december 1, 2018, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm carolina beach boat basin. fishing boats and pleasure craft electrically decorated with thousands of lights present a spectacular display on the intracoastal waterway.. They cruise form snows cut to the carolina beach boat basin and back. the boats compete for prizes and add to the wonderful holiday spirit. the flotilla always takes place on the second saturday after thanksgiving and begins at 6 pm. a panel of judges will be on hand to choose the winners. bring the family and enjoy the evening at carolina beach..

This will only affect the parade traffic moving from south to north. once the parade is completed at the jupiter inlet lighthouse the regular bridge opening schedules will be in effect. the palm beach holiday boat parade is produced and sponsored by the marine industries association of palm beach county, inc.. Come celebrate the holidays in carolina beach, nc including fireworks by the sea for memorial day and the fourth of july and enjoy music, food and more at the famous carolina beach boardwalk. trick or treat at our nearby aquarium or experience a holiday lights display on a lighted boat parade.. The ocean isle beach flotilla boat parade is always held the saturday after thanksgiving (saturday, november 24th, 2018) and begins at dusk (about 5:30 pm) in front of inlet view bar & grill. the flotilla will then proceed down the intra coastal waterway ending up at sharky’s waterfront restaurant & marina..
