Alat ini pula berfungi sebagai penghapus habuk-habuk kayu di kawasan perahu yang di buat atau membersihakn kawasan tempat memburis perahu. meurut informan pada zaman dulu hanya menggunkan guni beras untuk membersihakan habuk.. 1. rencana design dan ukuran perahu "long boad" yang di pesan. 2. pelihan bahan khusus dari jenis kayu : lunas/body boad dari jenis bahan kayu keras, ulet, tahan air misalnya lembasung/bengkirai dan mudah dibentuk; kapi/dinding dan bahan lainnya dari kayu yang sama atau jenis kayu ringan meranti merah/kuning.. Pakunya tidak terbuat dari besi, namun terbuat juga dari kayu; khusus pasak kayu yang digunakan adalah kayu ulin (kayu besi). membuat paku pasak untuk memaku papan kapal cara pembuatan pasak pun cukup simpel, kayu-kayu besi dipotong sepanjang 15cm, dan dibelah menjadi kecil..
