Bowness park is so fun! we went rented a paddle boat and a canoe and it was the best! this will be one of our favourite things to do in calgary!. Went for our second visit to the lovely bowness park. our son wanted to rent a canoe. this is the second time we used the boat rental 'service'. by the way, the guys down at the boat dock were very helpful and polite.. Bowness park. the university of calgary outdoor centre is now operating the boathouse, skate shop and train rides at bowness park. we look forward to being part of a fun, family-friendly activity that is truly part of the calgary experience..
